Kids with Muscles (ages 3 to 5)
This is an active and fun-filled class that focuses on mastering the following fundamental motor skills: walking, running, galloping, jumping, hopping, skipping, throwing, catching, kicking, and balancing. The children will do this by participating in action games and high energy movements such as relay races, obstacle courses, circuit activities and balance challenges. Children will receive the exercise training benefits from these fitness activities, but will perceive themselves as just playing.
The key to preventing our kids from becoming part of the childhood obesity epidemic is to keep them moving! Kids need to have fun and feel like they are part of a group in order to feel successful and want to make a lifestyle out of exercise. That’s what Kids with Muscles is all about!!
